Under the direction of former Miss Massachusetts and Taunton native Amanda Narciso, Spotlight Dance Studio is focused on helping children to develop their physical fitness, creativity, self-expression, and personal growth through dance. Our objective is to provide an enjoyable learning environment that encourages children to have fun and make lifelong friends.
At Spotlight, we understand the importance of developing many life skills such as commitment, teamwork, trust, and effort. Our faculty is comprised of dedicated and qualified teachers who are committed to helping our students reach their full potential. We strive to ensure that each student has a positive experience and learns the value of these important life lessons.
Spotlight Dance Studio is an exciting and enriching place to learn where children can develop their confidence and skills as dancers. Our dedicated faculty and staff will be by your child's side every step of the way as they explore the joys of dance and discover the joys of self-expression. We look forward to welcoming you and your child to the Spotlight family!
Spotlight Dance Studio's Early Childhood Program is designed to engage children ages 3 to 5 with age- and developmentally appropriate music, singing, dance, and imaginative exploration. Students are introduced to the building blocks of dance in a fun, energetic, and supportive environment.
Our Early Childhood Program features age-developmentally appropriate classes geared to gently introduce children to the educational experience. Lessons include imagination exploration, introduction to basic dance steps and movements, and socialization, presented with lots of positive reinforcement and encouragement!

Ballet (ages 5-18)
A study of grace and elegance, ballet is an art form with a history that extends back hundreds of years, yet still with the power to thrill audiences and challenge both beginning and advanced students. Our ballet classes follow the traditional educational format of barre, center work, and choreography, training students to move gracefully yet with precision and full-body coordination.

Musical Theater (ages 6 to 18)
Our musical theater classes combine study of acting and dance, with the goal of improving each student's ability to create a character onstage. Weekly acting games allow students to work on their focus and improvisation skills, while each month's curriculum leads students through age-appropriate choreography for a dance from a Broadway or movie musical.
