At Bluefish at the Inn, we are dedicated to ensuring your child’s safety in the water. Our instructors are highly trained and committed to teaching swimming with a focus on safety and fun. We are passionate about teaching children of all ages the essential life skill of swimming. Our programs offer all levels of swim instruction, from basic lifesaving skills to competitive swimming. 

We understand that water safety is a priority for parents. That’s why we maintain a comfortable temperature of 84 degrees in our aquatic facility. This ensures your child is learning in a comfortable environment. Our programs have a proven track record of success, so you can rest assured your child will be learning in a safe and fun environment.

Swimming

Inexpensive

Parent Tot program is for toddlers who are twelve months through three years of age. Children are accompanied by a parent or adult into the water. Student to instructor ratio is 10 to 1. Toddler classes are 30 minutes long. Class instruction is in water adaptation, floating, and kicking.



Parent Tot Program

Preschool program is designed for children from three to six years of age who are ready to go in the water without a parent. Student to instructor ratio is 5 to 1. All preschool classes are 30 minutes long. 

One Fish - Introduction to basic breathing drills, blowing bubbles, floating and kicking.

Two Fish - Emphasis is placed on kicking, breathing and self propulsion.



Preschool Program

Children’s program is designed for children from age six and up. Student to instructor ratio is 5 to 1 for Level 1, Level 1.5 and Level 2. The ratio for Level 3 and Level 4 is 6 to 1. Classes for Level 1, Level 1.5 and Level 2 are 30 minutes long and 45 minutes for Level 3 and Level 4.
