Camp West Woods Day Camp is the perfect place for kids ages 3 through 7th grade to have a summer to remember. Our camp is divided into three age groups: Lower Camp (ages 3-5), Middle Camp (grades 1-4), and Upper Camp (grades 5-8). Each camper is placed in a camp group with two counselors to ensure that they get the most out of their summer experience.
Camp West Woods offers a wide variety of activities for all ages, such as Day Camp, Gymnastics Camp, Science Camp, and more. Special theme weeks are also included, complete with fun events and guest speakers. These activities not only promote physical development, but also help build self-esteem and respect for others.
The LOWER CAMP is specifically designed to meet the needs and developmental level of children 3 to 5 years old. Campers are placed in small peer groups and led by qualified and caring counselors. Please note that campers must be fully toilet-trained in order to attend camp.
The LOWER CAMP program emphasizes social interaction, individual growth, and fun. All campers have a full but balanced daily schedule and participate in the activities listed below:

MIDDLE CAMP
Each camper is assigned to a camp group (based on grade) that is led by two counselors. Our staff, many of whom are teachers or pursuing careers in education, are selected based on their maturity, experience, warmth, and ability to relate to young children.
All campers are expected to follow the camp rules and be able to regulate their own behavior. If you think your child will need extra assistance at camp in order to have a positive experience, please call to speak with us before camp begins.
