About Learning House Preschool in Dartmouth, MA
Christine Patacao is the founder and Owner of Learning House Preschool, a high-quality childcare provider with three locations in the Dartmouth and Fairhaven area. Christine graduated from Bridgewater State College with a degree in Early Childhood and Care and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She believes that children learn best through interactions between children and their families, and her goal is to provide an environment where the children can reach their full potential. With that in mind, Learning House Preschool has developed a program that is based on developmentally appropriate practice and the Massachusetts Guidelines for Learning Experiences. The curriculum is designed to allow the children to choose their own activities and explore their interests so they can be actively involved in their own learning process.

BeAKid
Infant
In both our Dartmouth locations and Fairhaven there is one Infant classroom. Each classroom hold 7 Infants with two teachers in each. Our infant classrooms do follow a curriculum and theme each month.
BeAKid
Toddler
In both our Dartmouth locations and Fairhaven there are two toddler rooms. We have a younger toddler room that goes up to about the age of 2 and a toddler/preschool classroom. Each classroom in both Dartmouth locations holds up to 9 children and one in Fairhaven that holds 9 and one that holds up to 5. In our Toddler Classroom follow a process based curriculum. They have themes planned each month.

Preschool
In our Gulf Rd location there are two Preschool classrooms. An older preschool (ages 4-5years old) and a younger preschool (ages 2.9-4years old.) In our Slocum Rd location, there are 3 Preschool classrooms Preschool 1 (ages 2.9 to 3.5-4years old), Preschool 2 (ages 3.5-4-4.5 years old), and Preschool 3 is (ages 4-4.5 to school age.) In our Fairhaven location we have three preschool classrooms (following the same age range as Slocum), Preschool 1, Preschool 2 and Preschool 3. Our preschool classrooms follow a process-based curriculum, while also incorporating the academics.
