About Sharon Dance Center

Sharon Dance Center has been a beloved second home for many students over the years, and the studio family continues to grow with children of past students. With an emphasis on instilling confidence, poise, and self-love, the instructors are thankful for the opportunity to share their knowledge and passion for dance with all the kids. It is a privilege to watch them gain the skills they need to be successful and to help them gain the confidence and self-esteem required to reach their goals.

Ballet
All classes start with barre work. This is followed by across the floor, where we do turns, jumps and combinations.

Lyrical
A combination of ballet and jazz put together. Lyric class begins in the center of the room, with stretching. We then dance across the floor practicing old and new moves. Each class ends with a combination.

Tap
In this class children learn rhythm and to hear and feel the beat of the music while creating music with their feet.
