Welcome to Hockeytown! Established in 1972, Hockeytown is the premier venue for Ice, Dek, and Roller hockey on the north shore. The facility boasts two ice hockey rinks and is conveniently located off of route one with plenty of parking for visitors. The Turtles, a Hockeytown team, recently faced the Big Red in the East Division Semi Finals, and then went on to face the heavily favored Blackbears in the Finals. Thanks to the reflexes of veteran goaltender Lloyd Ternes and the speed of the “rookies”, the Turtles captured the Title in an exciting 3-2 victory. Congratulations to all on a great season! For the 2022-2023 Season, Hockeytown is hoping to return to a 7 team format. Applications are now available online or at the office. If you or someone you know may be interested, please spread the word about Hockeytown!

Our facility is certified by the state of Massachusetts for Child Care Service. We are equipped with fully stocked emergency kits and have an emergency plan in place to ensure the safety of your children. All of our employees are CPR certified and have gone through a background check. We opened in November 2014 and since then we have provided exceptional service to families in our community. We offer a warm and welcoming environment for your children to grow and learn in. We strive to provide a safe and secure environment for your children. Our goal is to provide the best quality care and attention to your children.

At The Creation & Learning Station, we are dedicated to providing a non-denominational Christian education to children of all ages. We strive to offer a unique and stimulating environment to help children reach their full potential. Our team of teachers, administrators, and parents work together to help each child grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, creatively, and physically. We use a combination of hands-on learning and traditional practices to ensure that each child’s individual needs are met. The Creation & Learning Station is proud to offer a preschool program for children between the ages of 2.9 and 6. Registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis and requires a $100 non-refundable registration fee (subject to change). We understand the importance of teamwork, and rely on God to help us accomplish our mission.

The Tiger Institute is a traditional Tae Kwon Do studio founded in 1984 by Master Shirley A. Russell. It is now operated by Sabumnim Amy L. Amirault, who began as a student of Master Russell in 1987.

But Abbott, a Refrigeration Mechanic, saw the potential for the local area and decided to take a risk. In 1980, Hockey Town USA Inc. was opened in Saugus, Massachusetts. Abbott saw a need for an additional artificial ice arena, as the abundant natural ice in the area was limited to a short winter season. He began driving his sons and neighborhood kids to Frost Arena and Lynn Arena to skate well after midnight, and this inspired him to create the rink. Abbott’s vision was to create a unique hockey experience that would provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for the local youth and adult hockey players. Hockey Town USA has achieved this goal and has become a staple of the Saugus community. With a full-size rink, pro shop, and other amenities, the facility has established itself as an institution in the area. Hockey Town USA is proud to be part of the rich hockey history of Saugus and to continue to offer a fun and safe environment for the community.

At Camp Sachem at the Saugus Family YMCA, your child can take part in an unforgettable summer experience. At Shining Stars we recognize that each child learns differently and has different strengths and weaknesses. To ensure that every child can learn and thrive, our curriculum is designed to touch on each of the intelligences, as outlined by Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences. This means that our infant and toddler programs also include activities that will help each child understand and grow in their own unique way. We believe that this will allow children in our care to shine in their own special abilities.

At Miss Rina's Little Rascals, we are passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment that encourages the growth of each child. We offer a wide variety of activities specifically tailored to promote the physical, social, and emotional development of our young rascals. At the Dance Academy, we take great pride in the quality of services and instruction we provide. We strive to ensure that every one of our dancers has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Founded in 1995 by Christine, the Dance Academy is celebrating over 25 years of teaching the art of dance. Our goal is to give each and every student the opportunity for success. We understand that each dancer brings a unique set of skills and abilities to the studio, and we strive to create a positive and supportive environment to help them reach their goals. From developing technique to building confidence, the Dance Academy is here to help each and every one of our dancers reach their highest potential.

Johann Hunter, owner of The Goddard School of Saugus, is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for children in her community. With a Bachelor's degree in Economics and an MBA in Business Management, Johann has a passion for early childhood education and the foundational years. She and her husband Mark, who have a daughter and two young sons, understand the importance of providing a great education and peace of mind for families in the area. Johann is excited to share this program with the families of Saugus and the surrounding communities.
