As a 501(c)3 charity, we provide assistance to islanders regardless of their ability to pay. We are proud to be a part of a national YMCA network, which works to strengthen local communities and help people grow stronger in body, mind, and spirit.

At the YMCA of Martha’s Vineyard, we are committed to ensuring that all islanders are welcome and supported. As a local, independent nonprofit organization, we are part of a larger network of over 10,000 YMCAs across the United States. Our mission is to provide assistance to those in need and help people to reach their fullest potential through developing all aspects of their life: physical, mental, and spiritual. We are proud to be part of this national movement of YMCAs and to be able to make a difference in our community.

The After School Program is a family centered program that nurtures the whole child by inspiring academic success, healthy movement, and social and emotional development. We believe our kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. It makes for confident kids today & contributing and engaged adults tomorrow.

Camp Kindness is licensed and adheres to all guidelines set forth by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. We are tuned in to the needs of today’s youth and the importance of instilling the four core values of the Y: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, throughout our programs.

Excellent teen center and great place to work out, but I wish they wouldn't keep delaying the building of an indoor basketball court.
