CHILDREN’S DANCE PROGRAMS
Help children get acquainted with their physical capacities and connect it to their already present and active imaginations. The joy of being in their bodies and learning to explore ideas is revealed when they lose themselves in imaginative play. Pre-ballet foundational vocabulary is introduced and reinforced throughout. Classes offered: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop

Ballet
Ballet technique provides a solid foundation for the study of many different styles of dance. The dancer learns to properly hold the spine, work the appropriate muscle groups and external rotation, and absorb the French terminology associated with dance. Basic fundamentals will be emphasized with focus on correct placement, clarity, detail of movement, and development of musicality and grace.

SUMMER AND VACATION PROGRAMMING
The art of storytelling is expressed in many ways, whether it be dance, music , art, or the written word. This week, we’re tapping into ALL OF IT! Campers will develop their own storytelling techniques experimenting with a variety of expressive arts. We will work on fun ways to create and convey our stories together with the help of special guests, including local authors & illustrators.
