Newton Central, Newton North, and Newton West. In 2015, the three separate little league organizations merged to form a new and improved program for the benefit of the community.
The Newton Little League has been a part of the community since the 1950s. Initially, the three separate leagues of Newton Central, Newton North, and Newton West provided baseball experiences for kids from ages 5 through 12. In 2015, these organizations merged to form a new and improved program that continues to bring fun and skill-building activities to the children in the area. The league offers baseball in the spring, summer, and fall for children who live in or attend elementary and middle schools from Newton Central, Newton North, and Newton West. With this merger, the league is able to offer a wide range of activities and a bigger community for children to learn and grow in.
