At Legacy Studios, the love of dance is fostered in all. For the past 25 years, Amy and Laura have been committed to teaching dance to the Newton/Watertown/Waltham area, creating a family friendly environment where students can gain a strong technical foundation, physical stamina, and self esteem. The studio has evolved over the years, and is now taking on new life. With the encouragement of their teachers and the support of their peers, students at Legacy Studios are able to explore the joys of dance and develop their confidence in a safe and fun atmosphere.

This class is an introduction to dance for preschool aged children.  Groups will explore basic ballet, and creative movement skills in fun and engaging ways.  Class begins with a greeting song and we then explore a variety of warm up activities.

 MINI HIP HOPPERS

Students will work on the fundamentals of dance that are prevalent in Musical Theater. It will focus on Jazz technique, performance qualities used in theater and some elements of musical theater history.  One dance will be performed in our recital.
