Since 1883, the YWCA has been providing crucial resources and skills to women and young people entering the industrial workforce. Now, we have expanded our scope to serve all individuals without regard to age or gender identity. Our inclusive network of programs includes housing, childcare, wellness, cancer support, aquatics, and leadership development, and we are dedicated to advocating for those most in need. We strive to create a community of support and empowerment for everyone.

Children interact in small groups and can discover independently all under the guidance of our loving, skilled educators. Our infant and toddler’s days include such activities as storytime, sensory exploration, science discovery, outdoor investigation, creative arts, and much more. Most importantly, all our infants and toddlers have fun in a safe, positive environment. 

Infant/Toddler Program

Our preschool program provides a safe, interactive environment in which children grow as learners through discovery, exploration, and creativity. The educators guide the children in developing appropriate social skills to inspire positive relationships. In our multi-age classrooms, children can be a mentor to a young child and a learner with an older child. Preschoolers have the opportunity to move throughout the classrooms in small groupings and independently. Our Educators know that each child has a unique learning style. 

Pre-school Program

Our multi-age program offers a rich, engaging array of activities and experiences within a fun developmentally appropriate program model.  Our philosophy along with our mission drives our curriculum and program environment from the books we feature in our reading lounge to the carefully planned themed activities that are offered each week.

The gym is adequate, the pool is a nice addition, and the classes are good but few in number.
It stands out for families since it offers on-site day care with AMAZING staff that our son adores.
He constantly looks forward to coming to play or for swim lessons, and we can pop in for a brief workout while he plays.
