About Arnold’s Gymnastics Academy

At AGA, we believe that having pride in oneself and one’s accomplishments is an important part of life. By participating in our gymnastics programs, kids can learn to love physical activity, gain dedication to a goal, develop better time management skills, and cultivate values such as perseverance, good sportsmanship, and problem solving. Through these experiences, children can gain confidence in their abilities and have pride in their accomplishments, whether it’s competing at a national level, receiving a college scholarship, or learning a certain skill.

Preschool Ages 3-5

Our Preschool program is for children from 3 to 5 years old. They work on goal setting, hand-eye coordination, listening skills, large motor skills and fine motor skills, all in a gymnastics setting. They will also learn basic gymnastics skills and vocabulary. We use all four evernts, bars, beam, floor and vault, as well as tumble track in our instruction. Some of the skills your child will be working on will include handstands, cartwheels, forward rolls and backward rolls. A typical class format will look like this:

Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten program is for children from 5 and 6 years old. Parent / Tot

Parent / Tot is offered to children 18 months to 3.5 years old. The parent will accompany their child into the gym for class. Different activities will be set up throuighout the gym for you to lead you child through. Activies focus on large and small motor skills, hand eye coordination, and body and spacial awareness. Instructor is there to aid you and your child through the various activities.
