Since 1983, The Dance Inn has offered a variety of dance classes for preschoolers through adults. From hip hop to ballet, tap to jazz, and contemporary to pre-professional, the studio has something for everyone! The classroom experience focuses on technique, expression and creativity, with an emphasis on collaboration and building a solid foundation. Every year, The Dance Inn recital is a unique opportunity for families to come together and appreciate the talent of their dancers. PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

Introducing dance to young children is an honor and a responsibility we assume with enthusiasm and professionalism. We respect each child’s individuality and strive to make the first experiences with dance POSITIVE and FUN. We offer different courses based on age. Each class is designed to meet the individual needs of its students while taking into account their emotional maturity, attention span, and developmental stage. Every class follows a similar structure and shares similar general goals. The dance activities vary with the age group, with a strong emphasis on musicality and rhythm.

Teens

The Dance Inn offers teen classes in tap, jazz, contemporary and hip-hop. Each class is available for middle school and high school students ranging in level from beginner to advanced.

Adaptive Dance(Ages 6-18)

The Adaptive Dance program shares the joy of dance to students ages 6-18 with special needs. We offer multiple levels based on age. Each class is designed to meet the individual needs of its students taking into account their emotional maturity, attention span, and developmental stage. The class offers instruction in jazz, hip-hop, and creative movement and results in one (1) recital performance routine during our Fall/Winter session. The adaptive dance program builds skills in fostering independence, confidence, cooperation, increasing strength and coordination. The class allows a safe environment for kids to foster friendships, and gain self esteem.
