At ICCC, we believe that play is integral to a child's development. We strive to provide an environment that encourages children to explore and learn through play. Our program is based on play-based learning, recognizing that children learn at different rates and in different ways. We provide a diverse range of activities and materials to meet each child’s individual needs and interests. We recognize that education is the key to success and is essential for a successful transition to the school system. We strive to provide children with a strong educational beginning, laying the foundation for future academic achievement. We believe that each child has the potential to learn and succeed and do our best to ensure that they have every opportunity to reach their full potential.

INFANTS AND TODDLERS
Our infant toddler program is an EEC licensed NAEYC Accredited mixed age group classroom, with children ages birth to two years nine months. It is a small classroom of nine children with a ratio of 1:3. The classroom is set up into smaller learning areas with all of the toys on low shelving units for the children to explore freely. In the block area you will find soft blocks, multi-cultural block play people, cars, animals, etc. Also in the block area you will find a gross-motor section with a soft climber for the children to walk up/down and slide and a rocking boat.

PRESCHOOL
ICCC has two preschool NAEYC Accredited and EEC licensed classrooms. The Preschool 1 classroom serves children ages 2.9 years-4 years old. The Preschool 2 classroom serves children ages 4-5 and a few before and after school children up to the age of 8. The Preschool classrooms are set-up into Manipulative Area, Dramatic Play Area, Math Area, Science Area, Block Area, Book/Quiet Area, Art Area, Sensory Area and the Preschool 2 classroom has a computer for the children to use on their own. All areas are fully stocked with age-appropriate and area appropriate materials for the children to use at their own discretion.
