At Dot to Dot Art Workshop it is our mission to provide an inspiring space where we can make connections within our community through the art experience. Classes and workshops typically range from 3-12, teen & adult workshops are offered periodically. In our supportive, safe, and dynamic environment, we offer professional guidance and aim to foster and encourage creative thinkers. We favor the “process art” approach to teaching and make it a priority to emphasize the importance of learning and enjoying the process, rather than focusing on the outcome.

Programs
ART stART Ages 3 - 5 yrs
Each class features a story or gallery talk about a famous or contemporary artist. Our table time art chat will be followed by an introduction & guided discovery of new art materials. The goal of Art Start is to build confidence in each child to freely experiment with the process of art, different tools and mediums like painting, printmaking, collage, & sculpture. GO BIG go tiny (ages 11-13)
GO BIG with larger scale layered paintings from spray paint to posca paint pens. go tiny with mini galleries built just for you. Artists will each create a tiny art gallery rooms designed to shows facets of themselves from mini portraits to small sculpture. Families will be invite to attend our "GO BIG, go tiny" Art Show at our last class @ 6:10pm
smART CLASS Ages 5 - 8 yrs
Keeping it classic with hands-on, screen-free, brain-powered, creative fun! smART CLASS will connect to learning in other disciplines and artists with a purpose. Artists will explore art materials in playful ways, make creative choices, find connections with new friends, giggle & be themselves! We encourage risk taking, experimenting, collaboration, problem solving, & imagination. We will be looking at how contemporary artists & illustrators are using materials and will experiment with some funky, cool techniques. All classes are drop-off style.
