About Cape Cod Ballet Theatre for Children in Harwich Port, MA
CCBT was founded in 2007 on the beautiful Cape Cod, and has been delighting children and parents with its unique and enriching classes and workshops ever since. Our curriculum offers a strong technical foundation in classical, contemporary, and jazz techniques, as well as theatre fundamentals. We strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our students to learn, grow, and develop a life-long appreciation for the performing arts, while making new friends and memories along the way. CCBT’s mission is to foster the joy and benefits of dance, theatre, and storytelling in the next generation of performers.

BeAKid
Pre-Ballet Theatre
PBT Level Classes focus on a fun, creative movement warm-up, based upon the RAD Pre-Primary syllabus; and, also include a different ballet or classic children's story every week/every other week, which students will dance and act out at the end of every class. This Level is for children ages 3.5-6 years old & no experience is required.

Ballet Theatre 1 + Rep
BT1 Level Classes meet once a week for 60 minutes and focus on Primary ballet technique, based upon the RAD syllabus. This level studies just two specific stories/ballets, over the course of an entire school year. Students in BT1 will also learn & memorize choreography from whatever story or ballet they're focusing on, for their end-of-semester, *in-studio presentations. BT1 Level classes are for students ages 6-8 years old, and are by placement, only.

Ballet Theatre 2 + Rep
BT2 Level Classes meet once a week for 90 minutes and focus on Pre-Elementary ballet technique, based upon the RAD syllabus. This level also studies two specific stories/ballets, over the course of an entire school year; where students will learn & memorize choreography from whatever story or ballet they're focusing on... BT2 students are also sometimes invited to join our oldest BT3-6, Modern, & Jazz students in our Annual Spring Dance Concert with Cape Cod Theatre Company / HJT. BT2 Level classes are for students ages 8-11 years old, and are by placement, only.
