About YMCA CAMP WIGGI at FRANKLIN YMCA
!
The summer camps we offer in the communities of Bellingham, Foxborough, Franklin, Mansfield, and North Attleboro are the perfect place for youth and teens to come together and make lifelong friends. We provide an array of activities that will help your children explore their interests and gain new skills. They will have opportunities to try new things, build meaningful relationships, and engage in hands-on learning.
At camp, your kids will take part in a variety of fun activities like field games, water games, swim lessons, archery, theatre, dance, sports, ropes team building, and gymnastics. Our staff will be there to reinforce confidence, healthy habits, and the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. We are thrilled for your children to join us this summer and create lasting memories!
Programs
The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.
TRADITIONAL DAY CAMP
Our traditional day camp for children is packed with activities that we carefully organize so kids enjoy the summer as they learn, grow, and have fun! Our camp day excites and energizes campers to learn new things, exercise their minds and bodies, and build friendships in the great outdoors. We’ll take kids (Grades 2-6 only) on local field trips, and special guests will visit our younger campers to round out the summer experience. Swim lessons are an awesome part of camp each week.
SUPER SPORTS CAMP
Over the course of the camp week, kids rotate through all sorts of fun sports. Campers enjoy soccer, basketball, flag football, Wiffle ball, kickball, dodgeball, and more. Each day, they’ll have fun learning sports skills with friends and take a break to cool off with a swim.
PRESCHOOL WELCOME WEEK
Our Welcome Week is set up for Junior Campers to help kids get accustomed to the camp experience, taking place in a quieter setting a week before all of the “big kids” attend camp. Junior Camp is specially designed with activities and adventures for the preschool-age child.
