The Recreation Department works in conjunction with local sports associations, school departments, individual Town residents, private groups, church and civic groups, as well as other Town departments. This allows us to provide a wide array of recreational activities for the community. Each year, we are proud to serve over 8,000 people in the area. Our commitment to providing quality recreational services is growing each year, as we continue to serve the residents in the area of recreation and leisure services. From scheduling all fields, playgrounds and courts, to offering sporting activities for children and families in need, the Recreation Department is a service-based department that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our community. With the bubble off in the summer, the pool, sprayground, and waterslide are the perfect setting for an afternoon of family fun. We offer our members six championship tennis courts and are home to DBH, USTA, SNEITA, and C-Mass teams. Our dedicated staff of tennis professionals offer lessons and class programming for adults and juniors at all skill levels. Your children will be safe and sound in our Children’s Center featuring play structures (Fire House, Beauty Shop & School House!), an Art Center, Hopscotch & Four-Square, and a Blocks/Building Center.
