BeAKid
The Little Music School
Unique to FSPA, Little Music School teaches children as young as 18 months to play the piano, engaging them from the earliest age in the joys of music-making and exploration of the arts. Under the direction of Kim Rezendes, the Little Music School method is available to select institutions worldwide. The Franklin School for the Performing Arts is pleased to be the first school in the United States to offer this unique program.

Summer Dance
Our summer dance classes are offered as an 8-week session of weekly dance classes in Children's Dance, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Dance for Musical Theater and Modern. FSPA also offers two Ballet Intensives. The Summer Ballet Intensives feature a final performance at THE BLACK BOX, and extra curricular classes in Alexander Technique, make-up, nutrition and injury prevention. The four-week Intermediate/Advanced Intensive and three-week Young Intensive provide training in classical ballet technique, pre-pointe/pointe, modern, dance history and character dance.

Children’s Musical Theater
For students in grades K-1, this class serves as a fun, energetic, and creative introduction to acting, singing and dancing. Children’s Musical Theater is a great class for students who love being the center of attention as well as for those that would like to become more comfortable performing or speaking in front of others. No previous training is required. This is a performance-oriented class with regular attendance required.
