At YFE, we believe that families come in all shapes and sizes. That's why we strive to create programs that cater to different types of families. Our Family Theater and Children's Theater programs are tailor-made for different age groups and familial settings, using a simple black-box format to focus on the actors' performances. Each show is a one-day-only event, followed by a pre-paid YouTube Premiere for a second weekend. We understand that family means something different to everyone, and we are passionate about providing programs that serve your family, whoever they may be. That's why we here at YFE have a heart for the families in our community, and we take great pride in providing them with quality entertainment. We hope that our programs bring joy and happiness to families of all shapes and sizes.

Programs at YFE Theatrical Productions in Dedham, MA

Family Theater
We love being a place where families can come together and watch an uplifting show, whether it be a Holiday favorite, an inspiring story from true life, or a fun comedic romp. Our Family Theater is purposely designed for families, their children, singles, couples, friends, and seniors. At many of our shows, parents can watch a show with their young children without worrying about the content displayed. Some of our Fall Family Shows will be tailored for certain age groups (such as ages 12+).

Children's Theater
Children's Theater is at the heart of YFE. When we first began theatrical productions as the division of Yellow Fun Entertainment, children's theater was where we began. Our Children's Theater shows are both geared toward children's audiences and often include more children in the cast than adults. Our aim is that children of all ages (generally 7-17) are able to have a role in our productions. Either as angsty preteens/teenagers, lovable fairies, Munchkins, Flying Monkeys, wooden puppets, or ugly stepsisters. Our past Children's Theater Shows include SNOW WHITE, POLLYANNA, CINDERELLA, and THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ (2019 & 2021).
