    At the Dedham School of Music, we believe that music is an essential part of life. We are a non-profit organization that strives to ensure that music remains accessible and enriching to all in our community. Our instructors are passionate about teaching and committed to helping students of all ages and backgrounds reach their musical goals. We offer a variety of classes and lessons for all levels, from beginning to advanced. The school has established relationships with local businesses to provide additional resources and opportunities for our students. We are proud to be an important part of the Dedham community and to be a part of fostering musical growth and appreciation.

    Programs at Dedham School of Music in Dedham, MA

    BeAKid
    Prelude to Piano

    Prelude to Piano prepares young beginners for private piano lessons with 15-minute instructional lessons to incrementally plant the seeds of keyboard topography, fine finger work, and note-reading at the piano. There will also be handouts, musical coloring pages, games, and play-along-tracks each week to reinforce each student’s musical growth.

    Sing Together

    Sing Together is a group voice class where students will explore their voice, learn vocal technique, learn performance skills and put them into action! Students will also grow their musicianship and have fun singing with other!

    String Chamber Group

    Come join Dedham School of Music's inaugural Adult String Chamber group. This will be a 6 week session meeting on Tuesday evenings 7-8:30pm. Dates to be determined this fall/winter.
