About Russian School of Mathematics - Brookline

At our school, we understand that parents are their children's first teachers and that they have a vested interest in their child's education. That's why we strive to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment for our students, and why so many of our teachers have chosen to send their own kids through our program. We are proud of the results our students achieve, which can be seen in the excellent scores they post in math competitions and assessments in the classroom. Our alumni go on to attend some of the most prestigious universities in the world, a testament to the success of our program. We take our role as educators and parents very seriously, and strive to create a space where our students can reach their full potential. We are honored to be able to help shape and support the next generation.

Programs

The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.

a person teaching a child
Elementary (K-2)
Young children are naturally curious, uninhibited, and can easily grasp very complex ideas. Our curriculum and methodology are built with this in mind. Our students learn to work with, and develop an appetite for, challenging mathematical concepts.

Elementary (3-5)
We regularly challenge our students to use their minds. Rather than memorize new information, they are guided to derive new knowledge by calling on what they know, thereby continually reinforcing what they’ve learned.

Middle School
Our middle school students develop a fluency in Algebra and Geometry, confident and prepared to excel.
