Learn how to build imaginary characters and bring them to life in our hands-on puppet-making studio! Each day we will cover a different puppet building style and performance technique. Projects will range from mouth puppets to marionettes, and everything in between. Kids will learn to see creative inspiration in found objects and materials, and will learn techniques for sewing, cutting, and gluing. We'll also explore how puppeteers use movement, sound, and other performance skills to bring characters to life. Don't forget to pack a snack - each day we'll have a safe-distance break in our outdoor courtyard. Theater games, craft activities, and other creative challenges will also take place throughout the week.
