The Children's Center of Brookline was founded in 1970 by a group of working parents, with the National Organization for Women's auspices, and centered around a cooperative structure. Through this structure, the center strives to provide a high quality childcare experience that is fun, joyful, and kind. Here, children learn to recognize and appreciate the differences and similarities in people from all different backgrounds. The center actively welcomes families, teachers, support staff, and volunteers from a variety of backgrounds, creating an environment of diversity and inclusivity. This allows for children to learn and grow in a variety of teaching and learning styles that foster appreciation for our individual and shared aspects of personal expression.
