lubs. For over a decade, The Skating Club of Boston has been providing Basic Skills and Figure Skating programs for children and adults of all skill levels. The Club’s Skating Academy, led by former member Cheri Rigby, has given skaters a safe, fun, and educational experience. The Academy has a mission of teaching correct technique, promoting health and wellness, and encouraging skaters to stay engaged with the various Club programs. Rigby's efforts have also seen the Club reach out to the local community, providing after-school programs at the Frog Pond and organizing free skating lessons for kids from Boston area Boys and Girls Clubs.

Programs at The Skating Club of Boston in Boston, MA
BeAKid
Tomorrow's Champion(Ages 4-7)
The curriculum is designed for the first two years of skating and has two levels of instruction. The directors will evaluate each skater for admission considering the skater’s athletic ability and aptitude for the sport of figure skating. All skaters will learn the fundamentals of the sport from the experienced and well-trained professionals of the highly respected coaching staff at The Skating Club of Boston. To be eligible for this program, skaters should be between 4 and 7 years old as of July 1, 2022.
