Extended Day Progam

The Extended Day Progam provides a small, mixed-age setting for guided exploration of a specific activity based on a theme. This fall's themes include Cooking, STEAM and Art! Led by two teachers, the children have the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects. Rest time, snack, and stories are also important elements of Extended Day.

Summer program

Our Summer Program, available to all families currently enrolled at Spruce Street, offers a fun combination of outdoor and indoor activities. Summer at Spruce provides opportunities for your child to spend time with friends new and old, as well as with many Spruce teachers. During the Summer Program, your child will enjoy daily excursions to local parks and pools such as the Frog Pond Splash Pool and the Tadpole Playground. Our Summer Program will feature in-school field trips as well. Previous summer guests have included Barn Babies, the New England Aquarium. and Baby Wiggles! And of course, there is abundant time for playing with friends, reading stories, creating artwork, cooking, and singing!
