About HMS MEDscience Simulation Lab

At HMS MEDscience, students are challenged to think outside of the box to solve real-world problems. At HMS MEDscience, we’re giving students the opportunity to explore their potential in a new way. Our innovative high school Biology course immerses students into simulated medical emergencies and our science curriculum motivates them to think critically, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively in teams. Through hands-on experiences, students gain the confidence they need to succeed. We offer semester programming with partner schools, week-long summer programming, and mini-module courses. Our mission is to address the inspiration gap in STEM education by providing opportunities that enhance the necessary 21st century skills for success in academics and future careers. We believe that by providing these experiences, we can help students think outside of the box to solve real-world problems. Located in Boston MA, HMS MEDscience is the perfect platform for students to explore their potential and gain the knowledge and confidence to succeed.

HMS MEDscience Summer Programs offer innovative, immersive medical science programs for high school students curious and passionate about science, healthcare, and related STEM fields. MEDscience uses realistic medical emergencies to bring science to life! Learn by practice for a transformative experience. Learn at HMS! Experience hands-on learning to deepen understanding by connecting lessons to real-life experiences. Learn from Harvard Medical School faculty and staff and other expert healthcare professionals. Be Inspired! Meet nurses, physicians, researchers, and other healthcare professionals and explore various medical career pathways during MEDchats and be inspired to find your passion! Build Confidence! Learn to think outside of the box, with no limits, to think like scientists. Become confident in your abilities to problem solve and share ideas. Gain critical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork skills and be prepared for college, work, and life! No textbooks, no homework!
