INTENSIVE FOSTER CARE (IFC)

The program can alternatively provide support to prospective kinship or adoptive parents. Our unbundled services provide highly individualized placement supports to a youth at risk of disruption, returning home, or navigating a transition. Our unbundled services program is designed to be flexible and responsive to every family’s individual needs. Services from the program can last from 6 weeks to 6 months as necessary and are always driven by the family’s goals and objectives. CFP believes that children do best in family settings and should remain in their own communities whenever possible.

STARR PROGRAM

Our Boston Regional STARR Program (Stabilization, Assessment, and Rapid Reintegration) is a 45 day residential program helping to stabilize youth, quickly assess their needs, and facilitate reunification with family or an alternate appropriate service, when necessary. We engage family members and community supports to ensure comprehensive plans for each youth. The program consists of 2 sites for youth ages 12-17, one serves up to 6 females and the other serves up to 9 males. We provide guidance to the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to facilitate permanency and clinical recommendations to ensure appropriate placement.
