About Commonwealth Circus Center

At the Commonwealth Circus Center, our vision is to provide a safe and encouraging space for Boston youth to learn circus arts, develop meaningful relationships, and finish their homework. Through the partnership with Circus Up, we are creating an after-school social circus program where area youth can have fun while learning important skills. This unique program is designed to help participants gain a greater sense of confidence, self-esteem, and trust in their peers. By combining circus arts, homework help, and community building activities, we're creating an environment where youth can not only learn new skills but also have a place to call their own. We’re so excited to partner with Circus Up to make this dream a reality in the Greater Boston Area!

Family Partner Acrobatics
Youth AND adults are welcome to this introduction to partner acrobatics. Bring your family and friends ages 6 and older as we explore balancing and stacking bodies into incredible shapes! We will develop safe spotting techniques and work through gradual progressions so that youth and adults will have the opportunity to "base" and "fly" any skill they like.

Youth Classes
Here at C3, we offer youth classes for kids 18 months old and up. Our classes are split by age range. We pride ourselves on our small class size to ensure safety and fun! Our youth classes run in progressive sessions, but many of the classes are available on a drop-in basis as well. Our staff is highly trained in a wide range of circus, movement, and fitness disciplines. Our youth instructors are experienced in child development, child psychology, and elementary, preschool, or adolescent education. We are eager to share our skills with you in our safe and fun studio!

Classes for Youth & Adults Together
Here at C3, we offer a handful of classes for youth and adults together. In these intergenerational classes we pride ourselves on our small class size to ensure safety and fun! Our classes run in progressie sessions, but many of the classes are available on a drop-in basis as well. Our staff is highly trained in a wide range of circus, movement, and fitness disciplines. Our coaches for these classes are experienced in both youth and adult educational methods and practices. We are eager to share our skills with you in our safe and fun studio.
