BeAKid
Summer Camp
Camp Baker is a fun, dynamic summer camp specifically designed for children ages 6-12 with mild to moderate symptoms of ADHD. At Camp Baker, children participate in traditional summer camp activities, such as swimming, sports, and art. Children also engage in academic periods to focus on maintaining academic progress, learn about the importance of group problem-solving, team building and environmental awareness. Children are taught one new social skill per day and then practice and receive feedback on their performance using the skill with other children in real-world settings. Parents participate in our programming through weekly parent training sessions. In this way, parents learn the skills that allow children to have such great success at Camp Baker.

Center for Effective Therapy
The Center for Effective Therapy (CET) at Judge Baker provides mental health assessments and focused short-term treatments for children and their families. We use only evidence-based treatments, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which have been scientifically proven to work. At CET, we continually monitor your child’s progress in order to individualize treatment and maximize gains.

The Massachusetts Child Abuse Emergency Line is a statewide, after-hours emergency response system designed to ensure the safety and protection of children across the Commonwealth. Judge Baker operates the Child abuse Emergency Line for the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF), partnering with DCF On-Call Supervisors and Emergency Response Workers after-hours.
