In September of 2015, Endicott College proudly opened the Raymond J. Bourque Arena – a first-class ice arena named for National Hockey League and North Shore community activist, Ray Bourque. This state-of-the-art facility benefits the Endicott and surrounding North Shore communities, providing an ideal home for collegiate and high school competition and practice, intramurals, student activities, events for the community, and formal speaking events.
The Raymond J. Bourque Arena is a great asset to the Endicott community, as it houses the men's and women's ice hockey teams, which have become nationally renowned in a short time since gaining NCAA Division III status. Additionally, the arena is used by Beverly High School ice hockey, Beverly youth programs, and several other programs in the North Shore area throughout the winter months.
