About Building Blocks Child Care Center in Barnstable Town, MA
Each spring, teachers and students team up to plant a vegetable garden. The students have an opportunity to get their hands dirty as they weed and water the garden. As the harvest time nears, preschool classrooms will get to sample their homegrown goodies. This year, the gardeners have planted five varieties of apples, giving the students a sweet treat in addition to the vegetables!

Programs at Building Blocks Child Care Center in Barnstable Town, MA
BeAKid
The building consists 5 classrooms; 1 infant room, 2 toddler rooms and 2 preschool rooms. In addition we have a full kitchen and an indoor play area for those rainy and snowy days. We have various safety systems in place, including cameras scanning the parking lot, main and rear entrances. The Building is fully sprinklered we conduct Monthly fire drills are performed with COMM Fire Department and alarm testing is done quarterly. Hands on learning, music, arts, fine and gross motor activities, math, science as well as literacy through out the day. Summer activities include large group games of cooperation between peers, Water days and in August a Preschool Graduation to Kindergarten and family gatherings
