About Anissa’s Dance Academy

We believe that proper stretching and care for the dancer's anatomy is essential to having a healthy dance career. Our staff is highly qualified and dedicated to teaching our students the best techniques that are available. With the guidance of our staff, our students will be able to continue dancing in their 20’s and 30’s, if that is the future they choose. Our teachers are all certified and have studied dance at Dean College Franklin, MA and The Hartford Conservatory Hartford, CT. At Anissa’s Dance Academy, we strive to create a safe and supportive atmosphere for our dancers. We provide our students with the tools and guidance they need to reach their dance goals. Through our weekly classes and competitive dance team, dancers can perfect their skills and strengthen their bodies for a long and healthy dance career. We have been devoted to this mission since opening our doors in 2005, and we continue to keep our dancers costumed and choreographed appropriately.

Toddler Beats 18 months - 2 yrs
Toddler Beats is a half hour class where your child can move, dance, play and intereact with other toddlers. Through creative movement, and open play your child will be moving and grooving while using fun props and listening to upbeat miusic. A parent or guardian is required to stay inside the studio during the class and participation is welcome!

Petite Stars ages 2 1/2 - 3 1/2
Our Petite Stars class will introduce basic ballet steps while incorporating imagery and movement expression. The fundamentals of ballet are taught in a fun yet structured dance environment.

Junior Stars I & II 5 - 8 yrs
Our Junior Stars class is a combination of ballet, tap and jazz technique. Students will continue to progress in their ballet and tap technique while they are introduced to jazz exercises, steps and progressions across the floor.
