About Rocky Di Rico's School-Kenpo in Arlington, MA
Rocky DiRico boasts an impressive karate career! He has earned more than 700 first-place finishes and 100 grand championship wins, making him the most successful senior professional competitor in the history of sport karate. Incredibly, DiRico has achieved the NASKA, N.B.L. and P.K.L #1 world or national ranking over fifty times between 1990 and 2007. Even more remarkable is that he was KRANE champion from 1988 through 1997 – a full ten years in a row! All of these accomplishments were achieved after the age of 35. DiRico is a remarkable example of how it's possible to achieve success at any age. His accomplishments demonstrate that you can still reach world-class levels in your chosen sport even past middle age.

FOR KIDS & TEENS
The primary focus is on how to avoid a fight, whether by avoiding the situation, using words to diffuse the situation, or, if necessary, dropping into a fighting stance to scare an opponent. All of these are taught as preferable to fighting. However, should a student need to defend themselves, they will be more prepared.

FOR FAMILIES
All of the benefits of training as an individual are increased when you train as a family. Families can help each other improve when they train outside of class. Families can keep each other motivated through the tough times. Families can share in the joy as they learn and advance together. We greatly encourage families to train together and offer a discount when additional family members train.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES & EVENTS
Rocky currently instructs over 500 children weekly and has hosted birthday parties for many families including the children of many prominent public figures including past Secretary of Labor Robert Reich, Boston Celtic Kevin McHale and Supreme Court Judge Stephen Breyer. Rocky can host your special birthday party including introductory Karate forms and awards. The parties are educational, a great experience for all and will make your child the center of attraction in a safe, fun environment.
