Programs at Creative Arts Dance Academy in Andover, MA

BeAKid
DANCE WITH ME

This program provides a bonding experience for the parent and child. With a caregiver close by, students will engage in hands-on movement activities essential to proper development in coordination. Music and movement will stimulate the senses. Songs and dances involving simple directions encourage language. The students build self-confidence as they learn to make friends and relate to the teacher. Parents love this opportunity to be a part of their child's dance education. This class does not perform in our annual recital.

BeAKid
INTRO

This class introduces the young dancer to the basics of the ballet barre, center work, and across-the-floor combinations. Basic tap steps are continued from Creative Movement and the basics of jazz dance are introduced. This class will perform two dances in our annual recital.

JAZZ/TAP

Students create syncopated rhythms with the use of tap shoes and practice leaps, turns, and footwork in jazz. This class will perform one dance in our annual recital.
