At Acton Art, we recognize the importance of a carefully structured drawing program that provides students of all ages with the essential skills and techniques needed to draw realistically and confidently. Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced student, we can provide the instruction and guidance needed to help you reach your creative potential. We believe that art is an essential part of every student's development, and we are proud to offer a curriculum-based program of drawing instruction that caters to students of all ages and skill levels. Our classes are taught by experienced, professional instructors who are passionate about art and understand the importance of teaching students the fundamentals. We strive to provide a fun, creative atmosphere that encourages exploration and growth.

Cartooning & Chibi
AUGUST 1–4 For ages 9 & up 4-day workshop/ 12 hrs total 12:30 AM to 3:30 PM daily $325 all supplies included This 4-day workshop will take students through the drawing process for variety of popular cartoon characters. Starting with western cartoons, from classic to modern, and moving to eastern “chibi” style characters we will talk about how to construct and complete a finished drawing.

Portrait & Figure Painting Workshop
JULY 25–28 For ages 14+ 4-Day workshop / 12 hrs total 12:30 to 3:30 PM daily $355 all supplies included Few things will help develop painting skills more than portraiture and figures. This workshop will introduce students to a series of projects intended to guide them through the process of creating a portrait and figure painting that demonstrates dimension, light and color.

Myths, Monsters & Magic
JULY 26–28 For ages 12+ (7th grade or higher) 3-Day workshop / 9 hrs total 12:30 to 3:30 PM daily $275 all supplies included This partially guided drawing class will get you started with your own base creature, then give you the opportunity to let your imagination take the reins. While previous drawing skill is not required, it is encouraged
