Wendy and DB have joined forces to create an exciting new music experience for kids and families. Through Wendy & DB, children can learn about the fundamentals of music and how to create and play their own tunes. Their program is designed to be engaging and fun, allowing kids to express themselves through music. 

Wendy Morgan and Darryl Boggs have combined their talents to bring music education to the community. Wendy began her journey with a music program at the Wilmette Park District, teaching and playing music with children. This program eventually developed into a live music show for the whole community to enjoy. Darryl has taught music in both private and public schools, and has a special passion for creating songs for primary school students. 

The duo now offers a unique musical experience for kids and families. Wendy and DB provide instruction in the fundamentals of music, allowing children to learn and explore music-making. Their engaging and enjoyable program encourages children to express themselves musically. Wendy and DB offer a special opportunity for children to learn and grow through music.

We recommend that an adult be present to participate in the music classes, but it is not mandatory. It is suggested that each family purchase an instrument kit for use during classes (shaker, 2-rhythm sticks, and scarf).

Musikgarten

Babies, toddlers and their families join us in song alongside Wendy Bean and her guitar. Families will enjoy Rock & Roll songs, well-known folk songs, and other favorites. Kids can join in the fun with finger-play, body awareness activities, call and response, exploring instruments, group dances and games using gross motor skills. Hoops, puppets, scarves, parachute, balls and various instruments are introduced throughout the class.  Sing and have fun with your children while making music. Instruments are available to purchase at the first class but are not required. This class is perfect for families with siblings!

Rockinhopper

Wendy and DB can bring their signature sound from the duo all the way to the full band - the Jammin' 3 for your next school assembly.  Award-winning kindie duo from Chicago Wendy and DB write and perform songs about science, nature, diversity, safety, the arts and more in true Wendy & DB musical style.  We examine the world with curiosity and just plain get everyone moving. Wendy and DB’s live show explores a variety of instruments and joyful props that gets the kiddos moving, singing along and dancing to the beat!
