Stacey N08/15/20225It was interesting to explore and learn about the past here. Both my 12-year-old and 6-year-old children liked exploring the area and being able to see many ancient buildings and items. We also purchased a few trinkets from locals at the gift shop. Nice pit stop and lovely nature stroll.
Jeffrey T08/22/20225Its a great farm with a nature center, trails, treks, and employees who are very informed. We arrived in time to witness the monarch release! Children adored it! (Today, we visited the playground without paying.)
Gregory U07/25/20225awesome spot to take children. fantastic trails for walking. The playground is fantastic, but it only costs visitors $3. Pictures of a baby turtle, which you can see if you want to in the tank to the right of the room.
Mitzi L07/25/20225Spring Valley is one of my two favorite sites in Schaumburg, along with the Volkening Historic Farm. I enjoy strolling through the nature center in every season (the library is the other). Both the farm animals and wild deer that roam the area have been spotted by me. In the center of a busy neighbourhood, there is this charming natural retreat.
Nathan R07/25/20224.88Children and families should visit this location during the summer. Children can engage in a variety of activities, including slides, water games (bring additional clothing for the youngsters), climbing, and musical instruments. You could easily spend 1-2 hours here. If you're alone or a bachelor, you might grow bored, but kids will have fun here, as did my family and I. Our camera was unable to capture the sight of the two snakes since they were moving too quickly.
