NSMA, located in Morton Grove off of Dempster Street, is dedicated to helping students of all ages to grow and develop in martial arts. The school offers pre-school, elementary aged, and adult classes in Taekwondo and Hapkido. During the summer months, NSMA offers Nunchuck, Gymnastics, and Junior Hapkido summer camps, so that even the youngest students have a positive and engaging experience. The Ki-Hap Parents group at NSMA provides activities and parties to make sure that all students and families have the best possible experience. Students are taught to lead classes and to teach others, which helps them to build both martial arts skills and confidence. In addition, the school promotes a supportive environment in which students can encourage and help each other, while also showing great respect for the school, the instructors, and their peers. These relationships often continue even after students have left the school, creating lifelong friendships.
