You can purchase your passes at the Bird Park Administrative Office, located at 893 W. Station St. in Kankakee. You'll be able to access all the fun amenities that Splash Valley has to offer, from the slides and lazy river to the splash pool and water playground. Water activites

Swimming

Inexpensive

Teaches safe behaviors around the water and develops swimming readiness by leading parents and their children in water exploration activities with the objective of having fun in and becoming comfortable around water. For ages 6 months through 3 years of age.  Class meets once per week for 30 minutes.

Parent And Child Aquatics

Promotes developmentally appropriate fundamental water safety and aquatic skills for ages 3-5.  Taught in a logical progression through three levels:
Level 1
 Introduction to basic water skills with instructor assistance. Children will continue to build on these skills throughout preschool levels 2 and 3.
Level 2
  Builds on Level 1 skills with little to no instructor assistance.
Level 3
  Builds on Level 2 skills with no instructor assistance.

Preschool Aquatics

Consists of six comprehensive levels that teach people of varying ages and abilities how to swim skillfully and safely.  Each level includes training in basic water safety. All aquatic and safety skills are taught in a logical progression. The objective is to teach people to swim and be safe in and around the water.
Youth classes are for swimmers ages 6-12. Adult/Teen classes are for swimmers 13+.

We enjoy this location. The renovations were nicely done. Even in comparison to the previous year, I believe they are operating more effectively this time around. It appears to be the sole location in the neighborhood to enjoy the sun and cool down.
