At our centre, we are committed to providing an inviting atmosphere for junior golfers of all skill levels. Our goal is to create a state-of-the-art facility for our junior players. Our centre offers an extensive range of specialized programming and instruction to help young golfers develop their skills and grow in their love of the game. We strive to make our facility a place where junior golfers can come to learn the basics of the game, play with their peers, or seek out private lessons. Our centre is designed to foster an environment that encourages growth and development in the sport of golf. We believe that with the right instruction and guidance, juniors can become accomplished golfers and grow to love the game. At the Glencoe Academy of Music, we are proud to provide private music instruction to kids, teens, and adults of all skill levels. Our faculty are patient, experienced educators who are also professional musicians graduated from acclaimed music institutes such as The Juilliard School, The Peabody Conservatory, Eastman School of Music, and The Manhattan School of Music, Jacobs School of Music, and The University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music to name a few. Our instructors offer lessons in-person, online, and hybrid, and are located at 336 Park Ave, Glencoe, IL 60022. We value the safety and health of our Glencoe Academy of Music community and, with that in mind, require all persons who are feeling sick or have had contact with someone carrying Covid 19 to NOT enter the premises. Masks are no longer required for all persons until official guidelines change. To ensure safety, medical grade air purifiers are located in each room. At the Glencoe Academy of Music, our instructors welcome kids, teens and adults of any skill level and will get you playing, whatever your style or interest. The Watts Center at Watts Park is a beloved Glencoe destination all year round. During colder months, the two outdoor ice rinks provide local residents with the perfect place to enjoy ice skating activities. The two lighted rinks are open from the day after Thanksgiving through the first Sunday in March, and the sledding hill is always a popular spot. In the warmer months, the rinks are transformed for DekHockey, and the park also features two tennis courts, two pickleball courts (on the tennis courts), a disc golf course, and soccer fields. The Glencoe Park District has been providing a wide range of recreation opportunities to local residents since it was established in 1912. Its Board of five elected commissioners serve four-year terms without pay, overseeing the District's operations, improvements, and planning. They are responsible for establishing and changing Park District policy, approving the budget, negotiating agreements, and signing contracts. The Board also works with committees to review and reach consensus on items, which are then brought to the Board for final review and/or approval. The Park District's goal is to give residents of the District access to wholesome, constructive and enjoyable leisure time experiences that benefit the individual, the family, and the community.

For 50 years, the Chicago Botanic Garden has been a beautiful place to visit. Now, it is one of the world's great living museums and conservation science centers. Spanning 385 acres and including 28 gardens and four natural areas, the Garden offers something for everyone. Its Bonsai Collection is renowned, and its Lenhardt Library contains 150,000 volumes, including an impressive collection of rare botanical books.
