At Down Home Guitars, our focus is personalized instruction. We realize that everyone learns at different speeds and has different musical tastes as well as learning needs. Because of this, you will work one-on-one with your instructor to determine your skill level and preferred direction, and from there they will build a curriculum tailored specifically for you based on your strengths, weaknesses, and goals.

Private Lessons

We also provide performing opportunities in the form of monthly open mics, all-school recitals in May and December, and local showcase events. All events are family-friendly and allow you to practice your music and get feedback in a low-key, positive environment. Performing is not required, but encouraged as an incentive to practice, as experience preparing and presenting music to an audience, and as a way to celebrate your progress and boost your confidence!
