At the Elgin Youth Choir, we believe that music has the power to touch the human spirit and bring out the best in our children. Our primary purpose is to bring out the very best in each of our performers by providing exceptional music education and vocal training in a safe and nurturing environment. We strive to be more than a choir – we are here to help our children learn more about themselves, their communities, and the world around them. At the Elgin Youth Choir, we are dedicated to teaching life through song. We provide a positive and supportive community with a focus on individual and ensemble discipline, teamwork, collaboration, self-expression, and self-confidence. Our goal is to help our singers develop an ever-growing understanding of themselves and the impact they can have on their ensemble, school, community, and family.
