About jBaby Chicago

JUF Young Families is all about creating a vibrant and connected Jewish community in the greater Chicago area. We bring together families of all backgrounds to explore and celebrate Jewish traditions, holidays, and milestones. We also encourage parents to build a strong community by volunteering together. Our community is diverse and we are proud of it, as it makes us stronger and more inclusive. No matter your level of Jewish knowledge or observance, we are here to help you gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for Jewish life. We believe that Judaism has a lot to offer modern parents in terms of enrichment and support. We also recognize the importance of each family’s unique contribution to the overall Jewish community. We are everywhere – from play spaces and synagogues to grocery stores and preschools. We look to a variety of experts, including rabbis, musicians, educators, and artists, to help us become the best parents and people we can be. We invite you to join us for a cup of coffee, a free Jewish book, and other special programs and events. Let’s build our village together!

JBABY CHICAGO CLASSES
Bagels, Books & Babies -This active class will bring parents of children 0-2 together under the guidance of master parent tot educator, Fran Meyer. Children will enjoy stories, music, crafts and free play in our specially designed early childhood room replete with all the fun toys that children enjoy. Parents can grab coffee at our onsite "NOSH Cafe" and children will play together along with parents who can socialize, snack, build new friendships and enjoy a Sunday morning destination during those long winter weekends.

JBABY CHICAGO PLAYGROUPS
Sitters and Crawlers - Bring your little one to the fun, engaging Tiny Tot Incorporated in Lincoln Park and connect with other parents in your community. This playgroup is best suited for kiddos 6-18 months, but the age range can be flexible!

JBABY CHICAGO FAMILY EVENTS
jBaby family events are for the entire family (yes, grandparents too!) Throughout the year celebrate holidays with us at an Ultimate Playdate, make a new friend at Bagels in the Park or enjoy a tot-sized concert with one of our favorite local musicians. Join us at kid-friendly locations or sometimes from the comfort of your couch.
