The Bloomingdale Barracudas are a competitive summer swim team with swimmers ranging in age from 5 through 18. They are members of the DuPage Swim and Dive Conference which consists of 13 park district swim teams located throughout DuPage County. Practices are divided up according to the swimmer's age and ability. Each age group has their own coach(es) and are supervised by a head coach.



 Starfish Swim Lessons

With the basic skills learned in the intro classes, more difficult skills are introduced in the advanced levels, including handstands to handstand rolls, one-arm cartwheels to round-offs, back bends to back walkovers, front limbers and cartwheels on low beam. Advanced classes focus on technique, strength, flexibility and advancement of skills in tumbling and on gymnastics equipment. Skill circuits on all equipment are completed in each level.



Advanced Gymnastics (2-3 yrs old)

The Bloomingdale Park District's mission regarding youth athletics is that all participants play in a safe and fun manner, and that the leadership of each athletic organization keeps this mission in mind at all times. The Park District also offers a number of youth athletic & fitness programs for all ages.
