Harmony Youth Theater has opened its doors in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago to give children the opportunity to explore the power of the arts. Our mission is to create a safe and inclusive space for young creatives to develop their talents in all aspects of theater. With this program, we hope to foster a sense of self-expression, critical thinking, teamwork and confidence within these young minds. Peter Markovitz and David Ullendorff were pioneers in the education industry, recognizing in the 1990’s that students need a solid understanding of mathematics in order to be successful both in school and in life. The two men saw a vast disconnect between student’s learning skills and the math curriculum they were taught in school, and set out to resolve this issue. As a result, they founded Mathnasium—a math-only learning center that strives to provide the best instruction in the world.
