Whitney & Corey Carter, owners of AR Workshop Port St. Lucie, have a long history of crafting. From the days of Whitney selling ribbon barrettes to her classmates as a child, to later running a craft club after school for her students, Whitney has always been involved with crafting in some way. After serving in the Air Force, the Carters moved back to Martin County in 2017, and Whitney was looking for something to occupy her time. She found AR Workshop during a team building event and was immediately hooked. After completing five projects in two months, Whitney applied for a job at the shop and the next day began her new role as an assistant. In no time at all, Whitney found out that the shop was for sale and knew it was meant to be! She and Corey decided to purchase the shop and have been running it ever since. Whitney is now able to share her love of crafting with others and help them create beautiful projects!
