. The National Flight Academy, LLC is a subsidiary of the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation, offering an educational experience for students to gain knowledge in STEM-related topics. The Academy is authorized by the United States Navy, though not endorsed or financially supported. The Academy’s mission is to inspire students to pursue the more challenging courses in STEM when they return to their parent schools. Disciplines such as aerodynamics, propulsion, navigation, communications, flight physiology and meteorology are taught to students, along with the core values of teamwork and leadership skills development.
