About The Coder School Sarasota in Lakewood Ranch, FL
That's our motto. We offer an after-school drop-off (and virtual) program for kids to learn to code. We’re the largest coding school in Silicon Valley and we’re expanding to other locations around the country. Clearly, there is a demand for after-school programs. From kung fu to music lessons, sports, art, tutoring, and Chinese, there are plenty of options available. However, coding is relatively new to the after-school scene. That’s why we’re proud to be among the first and the largest coding school in Silicon Valley. We believe that teaching kids to code will prepare them for the future and equip them with the skills they need to shape the world. That’s why we are dedicated to inspiring young minds and giving them the opportunity to create something new and exciting. With our after-school program, kids can learn to code and become the innovators of tomorrow.

CODING CAMPS
TheCoderSchool camps are great for learning new skills in a condensed period of time. Each day camp runs for a full week, usually starting mid-morning and finishing early afternoon, although some camps are offered as a half-day. Because we understand it might not be feasible to meet in person, we’re also offering some camps online.

CODING LESSONS
Coding takes practice, and we believe getting kids to code consistently throughout the year is the only way they'll really learn to code. theCoderSchool has a staff of hundreds of Code Coaches all around the country, so we know a thing or two about mentoring students in computer science. That's why our after-school coding classes for kids revolve around this relationship, providing a long-term mentor in a Code Coach to teach kids to code, from someone who's an expert coder themselves.

Our coding school's flagship after-school program, Code Coaching®, combines a super-small 2:1 teaching ratio with individualized curriculum so kids are able to move at their own pace, doing things that interest them most. While Code Coaching is our premium program, we also offer a more traditional Code Class for those looking for either software-driven or static-curriculum teaching in a larger ratio.
