About Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranch Camp Sorensen in Hilliard, FL
Firehouse Subs Co-Founder Robin Sorensen and his wife, Tabitha, have a true passion for helping children. To that end, they made an anchor gift of 900,000 dollars to purchase, renovate, and open Camp Sorensen. The Sorensen's funded the Youth Ranches purchase of the former First Baptist Church Jacksonville Hilliard Retreat Center, and Camp Sorensen will provide camping services for deserving children from around the state each year.
At Camp Sorensen, children will have the opportunity to take part in team-building activities and have fun with volunteer deputies. Camp activities include high ropes, challenge course, swimming, canoeing, and archery, among a host of traditional camp activities. The Sorensen's have also been large donors of several children-focused charities in Northeast Florida. This dedication to helping children is an inspiration for us all.

Boys and girls experience many different therapeutic camping activities. Canoeing, archery, swimming, and many other recreational activities allow them the opportunity to build basic teamwork and peer communication skills. Additionally, they can spend the week enjoying the beautiful, tranquil outdoor environment.
